How Senate confirmation hearings work:
As most of you have probably seen, senate votes are now taking taking place, both at the committee level, and on the floor. Outside of the fact that a number of the candidates simply are not qualified for their positions, many of these confirmations are actively undergoing without a full vetting.
Senate confirmation hearings should work like this:
So what now? All of our votes so far, have advanced to the full floor vote. I think it's likely that all will go that route; so that's where we need to try and stop the process.
